ABOUT

Hi there, I’m Ann, the stained glass artist behind Lead Wings Glass, where my work is shaped by the quiet intelligence of nature and the enduring beauty of architecture. I’ve always been fascinated by the structures hidden in the natural world, the lattice of a dragonfly wing, the ribbing of a leaf, the geometry inside a seed pod. To me, these patterns feel like nature’s own blueprints, and stained glass is the perfect way to honor them.
My studio is where wild forms and architectural lines meet. Some days I’m sketching the delicate curve of a moth’s wing; other days I’m studying the way light moves through cathedral arches. Both inspire me. Both shape the way I design. I create stained glass in all sizes and styles, from small, luminous suncatchers that brighten a window to large, structural installations meant to transform a space. Whether it’s a simple piece that catches morning light or a full-scale work meant for a lodge, home, or public space, I love the challenge of bringing an idea to life in glass. I also offer custom pieces, working closely with clients to design something that feels personal, meaningful, and built to last. If you have a vision, whether it’s rooted in nature, architecture, or something entirely your own, I’d love to help shape it in glass.
